Ladies and gentlemen,

As the President of the Vietnamese Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, I am honored to be here and thrilled to welcome you to Vietnam.

Our nation, located in the heart of Southeast Asia, combines ancient traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality.

Our society – VSUM, was founded in 2017 and has been at the forefront of advancing ultrasound technology and medical practices in Vietnam.
Our dedicated members have tirelessly worked to bridge the gap between research and clinical application.
Today, we stand united, ready to share our experiences, insights, and breakthroughs with the global ultrasound community.

But our journey extends beyond borders.

VSUM was recognized as an official member of AFSUMB in 2019.
In 2026, Vietnam will proudly host the 17th Asian Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology Congress.
This prestigious event will bring together specialists from Asia and the world.

I believe the AFSUMB 2026 Congress will be a symphony of ideas, a mosaic of cultures, and a catalyst for progress.

Once again, WELCOME TO VIETNAM, welcome to VSUM to enjoy your time in our beautiful country; and explore the frontiers of ultrasound!
